Ceramic mural at Mont Albert Primary School

Making the mural at Mont Albert Primary Year 6 students. They are making their 'Gift to the School'. A bit of a puzzle for you to work out!

began the mural at Camberwell girls grammar on a very hot day

. . . . .  so the photographs are washed out with the sunshine and heat . . . .
The wonderful girls have put the hundreds of little words that we have made into alphabetical order!!!! The after-school team were sorting them into the sentences for me, thankyou girls. They will be very pleased when I turn up with the missing words tomorrow.

Doing something secretive at Overnewton College with the staff

We are making a whole staff artwork at the Taylors Lakes Campus. The Keilor Campus are also making their own artwork. It was the idea of the principal (Jim Lawson) after he saw the artwork at the  . . . . hospital in Italy where the staff, patients and visitors have worked with artists to decorate the hospital.

Each workshop has had three activities for staff to choose from. They work to make something out of clay for the final artwork. It is inspired by Reg Mombassa and Sean Tan's work. But that's all we're going to tell you.

Some interesting antics for you.
The mural has demanded new innovative techniques for keeping the design organised.
